I’m a research-driven UX designer on a mission to humanize the digital space. I love crafting experiences that genuinely delight users. And while that outcome still drives me, the more honest reason I got into this field wasn’t a deep love for design or a desire to make the world better through tech. It came from frustration.
The same way some people get road rage or hate big crowds, I had a curious case of “net rage.” As a kid, I’d get disproportionately irritated when I couldn’t look up Pokémon cheat codes without intrusive ads or when I had to suffer through convoluted password reset flows. I kept asking myself, is this really the best the internet has to offer? That question sparked my quest to figure out web design and later UX design back when the term first started trending, alongside planking and One Direction in 2011–2012. Ahh, the good ol’ days.
Since then I’ve worked as a designer and consultant, and led teams as a manager and director. While e-commerce has been my primary focus in recent years, I’ve also cut my teeth in digital media, printing, non-profit, and gaming.
Outside of UX, I’m a lifelong musician, mixed martial arts enthusiast, and avid reader. I enjoy startup environments with good people and strong culture.
